If the pinks are correct, this seems an over-reaction to a humble flag. Anyway, bunting is much preferable to flags. Flags symbolize tribes and divided nations. Looking at Earth from space, there are no observable boundaries and we should all learn to live accordingly and with peace (IMVHO).

SO now we cannot fly flags with dildo's on incase we upset some ISIS muppets.

what sort of a fookin knee jerk, bleeding heart liberal, fookin reaction is that - if he want to fly his flag he can do.

That's good; the event has at least one positive outcome.

I trust some of the funds are used for the clean-up operation.

I stand corrected. Thank you for the link.

It sounds quite a high-spirited and effervescent party. Given such levels of debauchery, maybe drugs are involved.

    What next??

What I didn’t know, despite the fact that I’ve been living in the city for several years, is that I’d find people lined up to be spanked, naked men jerking off in the middle of the street and clotheless women tied up to a street posts with rope.

I have to admit, I really thought I was walking down to a street fair with camera in hand to shoot a street full of food and arts and crafts stalls. “How long have you lived here?” a friend later asked.

If every gay person in San Francisco turned up at the leather fetishists fair, then that would account for under a quarter of the attendees. Not sure what percentage of the gay population of San Fran attend a leather fetishists fair, but I'm going to suggest that it's significantly less than 100%. But I'm sure you're right about them being over-represented.

Not quite sure how this is relevant to London Pride (or any other gay Pride event in the world) though.

It's a public place that you have to choose to enter, fully aware that there is a fetishists fair going on. Children are allowed, because it's up to the parents to determine whether it's appropriate to take them to a fetishists fair or not.
