If you are going to work as a contractor, you better learn how to handle agents. I suggest you start now.
You have a contract, honour it.
Has the agent sent you a contract for the new role?
Did it have a start date?

+1, If a pimp told me the sky was blue I would look out of the window to make sure. Never believe what they tell you, unless you have a signed contract you have nothing (and even then things can go pear shaped). For the sake of a week honour your current contract and tell the agent to wait or you'll refuse the role (I guarantee you he can smell the margin by now and will wait).

So i went for a 6 month contract role doing 'Cisco Contact Center' admin its the same hours per week as im going now.
But It's shift work based on a 4 week pattern. I would also have to work one saturday every 5 days with a day off in liu.

The downsides are also its an hour away from where I live.
The plus side is its paying £60 extra a day.

The pimp is putting pressure on me to start tomorrow.
My current contract has a weeks notice.

Would you ever walk out on a contract for a better paid role?
I am concerned about pissing off my current agency/company.

seriously a day off in liu is this really a contract or 6 month fixed term, never heard of such a thing on a contract, if I'm working Saturdays I want paying for it full stop.

bet you a pound you never get that day off because they will not find the time for you to have it then you will have to write it off
