Been using Tempur Matresses and pillows for years and they're worth every penny. No problems with being too hot or cold and they really do help with back support.

We've had the king sized one at home for ages, and I bought one for the spare room at my parents because the old mattress there used to cause me all sorts of back issues.
Other vendors are available.
Then when I phoned their Bolton office, the slightly bored and irritable sounding guy kept me on the phone for ten minutes while he ambled off somewhere to check in person whether they had any in stock. It turned out there was only one in stock, and new stock would take anything up to a month to arrive.
So in short, I bought three Eve mattresses at £600 a pop. If I remember, in due course I'll update the congregation with a review on these.
The Geltrex mattresses look intriguing; but unfortunately I only saw the post on this after I had ordered the Eve mattresses.

Cheers!
Now Teflon coated to help keep it clean.

Dahlink, memory foam is sooo last century. Geltex is where its at.
Scored a Sealy bed with geltex: base, headboard and mattress around £1100 delivered. Best bed we ever struggled to get up from ....
Seriously, its firm but yielding, doesn't overheat and doesn't need turning. Though you're supposed to rotate it, ie head end becomes foot end, monthly. Go figure.

Back in helpful mode, I've heard the memory foam ones are too hot too, something about the way they fit your contours increasing the contact area.
It'll certainly be worth checking the other sites people have kindly provided.

The one we have has a summer side and a winter side. Don't know what difference it makes, but there's a label and everything that says which way up to put it.
