Know the feeling. Up early long commute, home just in time to see the youngest before bed. Fall asleep on the sofa. Same again next day.

Weekend comes. Too short. Find I dont have time to sort stuff out/paperwork etc.

If it is a one dayer try one of those zombie survival nights?

It is it a weekender monster an Empire LARPing game? It is free, you get fed and it will take your mind off everything.

Most likely on the Sunday but due to local regs the racing does not start until 12 but to get a good spot you need to be there by about 8.

which gives plenty of time for a walk around the paddock/pits etc before the racing starts

    which is nice
We usually watch from Knickerbrook on the Sunday and it doesn't get too crowded, still need to be there for about 10 though.

If you can't afford the flight go to Bristol for much of the same instead.

Amsterdam, see sights, get stoned, pay for hookers see some more sight and come back home. 4 days away from reality will do the trick.

If the jewels are flawed and the heist is flawless, it was profitable, just not as profitable as it could have been.

If the jewels are flawless but the heist is flawed, you get to live for some years rent free as a guest of Her Majesty.

    HTH answer your question.

Either. You're just going to turn in your accomplices for the reward money anyway.

Bit of a theme to your moan - lose the kids

In all seriousness, don't know how old your brood is, but I would recommend getting a small boat, then you can do something that they enjoy but gives you "man time" at the same time (fixing engines usually) whislt Mrs Yasockie cleans and prepares food*

Try it on you long weekend by chartering a boat on the Thames or your nearest canal
