This reminded me that I hadn't booked my car so I did last night. Now, we are driving from NY to Virginia International Raceway via Skyline Drive, than on to Roanoke Island, Washington DC and back to NY, so we'll need a decent car. Budget Car Rental, Ford Mustang $1200 for 2 weeks, result!

I daresay if I'd booked earlier it would have been cheaper. Happy to pay £1900 rather than £3200 though.

Happy that if I looked on skyscanner today it is £3200+

    Even indirect was averaging £3000+

Got a bargain. £1900 with BA via Chicago. Not ideal - 5 hrs in Ohare but for the sake of almost £1500. (But 2 hrs miami coming back to not too bad).

Not as flush as some of you who'd do business class lol.
    All sorted now then?

Serious question. What is the attraction ?
It's one the easiest points to run your drug mules in to from Latin America, and The Family connections in Miami can help give you protection.

^This is what makes me wary of going on holiday to Spain or Portugal these days.

Are we running out of options here?

2nd/3rd time we went in July and we focused on the Harry Potter sections, shows etc..

If we were going back we would go for May again. It was quieter and nowhere near as hot.
