Is that the Thatcher that freed up the vast number of contractor paying companies in the eighties and nineties?

    That's an insult to Thatcher.

Oddly talking to old (over 70) Tories and Labour they have similar views on the welfare state. Their difference lie on things like competition and the nationalisation of industries.

Neither group likes people like DA who doesn't care for his family. By family they mean extended family which includes people like neighbours.

Cretin. See the UK doesn't celebrate 1st May as a workers day unlike much of the world. It seems that Conservatives are more interested in money than people, the caring sharing big society:

The current Conservative-led coalition government in March 2011 announced plans to move the May Day bank holiday to October in order to lengthen the tourist season

Even if this is true, that's one of the stupidest things you've said.

Most of those who we call champagne socialists ARE trying to become rich, just like everyone else. Getting rich is not easy - most right-wing people are not rich and never will be either, even if they aspire to it.

And the premise that the only way to help people is to get rich and use the money is also ridiculous. You've said previously that just giving money to poor people doesn't help them. The lefties I know - in both public and private sector jobs - give up their time. Not only for practical things like this (Handcrafted - Durham, UK) but support and friendship which are also pretty darn important.

Of course even the premise of what you say is wrong. Not every person does want to become rich. Those that do are rich those that are not rich are either lucky or do not want to be rich. We all choose the level; of wealth we want and strive accordingly.

The lefties you talk about may indeed help people and have such evidence to back their convictions (they are wrong in my opinion). I would wager that just as many righties do the same. socialism never enriched anyone other than those in office. People like Bill gates on the other hand has enriched himself through the capitalist system and in so doing has given more to help the poor than probably the entire aggregated population of left wing people in the world.
It is right wing ideology that creates the wealth and left wing ideology that squanders it.

Yes, but it related to Vidkun Quisling who only co-operated with the Nazis. Who, for clarification, had actually invaded Norway, rather than just being in a political union. Suggesting someone with different political views is a Quisling is something of an exaggeration, rather like what Goebbels specialised in.

Quisling is term used for traitors originating from a Norwegian Nazi collaborator who was a traitor to his own country (hard to be a traitor to someone else's country), named Quisling.

You seem quite happy to keep altering the narrative to suit your own needs, Moeller van den Bruck.

Quisling - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

after the Norwegian Vidkun Quisling, who assisted Nazi Germany as it conquered his own country so that he could rule the collaborationist Norwegian government himself.

    hmmmm
