The Beeb made a big deal of the fact that his background was unlike the present PM and unlike the present PM he managed to get a majority.

At least it's better than wheeling out Tony Blair. *cringe*

They wheeled him out for the Scottish referendum. I don't think him pointing and screeching at the SNP is going to work twice.

I think this is a real problem. But it shouldn't be an excuse not to encourage those who do want to work for themselves. It is possible to crack down on this and promote working for yourself as a positive thing.Originally posted by socialworker View PostPerhaps Ed was just avoiding the trap of looking as though he supports the ployof forcing unemployed people with no real skills into totally false self employment, living off tax credits to avoid the now punishing signing on regime, unaware of the consequences until the self assessment demand comes through the letter box.

Major was one of the rare examples of a Prime Minister whose popularity would have gone up if his affair was leaked whilst he was in power
The boring label that Spitting Image put on him really stuck

FTFYOriginally posted by Zero Liability View PostIt's a pity that either of them gormless little turds stands any chance of being elected as PM. I guess we can only hope for a vote of no confidence, if the Tories don't start gaining some steam and quickly.
Meanwhile, Labour seems to have abandoned the FLC and moved back to FUC. Or so it would seem given the sparse details of their plans for contractors.
