    I've been using the pwgen utility for password generation for a while now. It looks impossible at first glance but actually it's not. For the accounts that I use regularly (that's 12+ at a quick count) I can recall the passwords mentally with ease. Less regularly used accounts can be more of a challenge!

    It's a Linux command line thing, but it appears there is a Windows port and a neat little online Javascript thingy as well.

    I used an online service to generate random secure passwords but they are so complex to remember I decided to use the password as the username as well so I don't forget. Genius hey!!


    Problem is I can't seem to log back on to the online service to create my second password for some reason

    I have done this on a read only application, but most passwords are in an app like 1Password
