Once they catch that jihadi john, do you think they will do an Osama and put him down or bring him to trial?
-
Maybe once a few more of them have been beheaded and burnt
Alive in cages they will think twice before doing it themselves again.

I don't see why not, treat them like they treat you. Wasn't it a few years ago where a couple of Russians were kidnapped by insurgents (an Arab group I believe) and threatened to cut their heads off if their demands weren't met. The Russians sent their special forces to the area, captured a couple of them, cut their heads of and sent them back whereupon the hostages were set free, basically don't **** with us! It seems to me, though, that if you continually tell a child that they are naughty, they will live up to that expectation.
Just like the Scottish Referendum where all the noisy 'Yes' voters got the news time but the reality was that it was the more moderate and quieter 'No' voters that prevailed, it seems to be the Choudarys of the UK Muslim community that get the airtime. Their controversial views and statements outrage middle Englanders and sell papers, and provide a disproportionate view of Muslims in the UK.
All I'm saying though is that if the conflict in Iraq was reported as Muslim vs Muslim, it might have a different effect on young Muslim people's minds than ISIS vs the West.

Journalists and newspapers need to be held far more accountable for the UK impact of this conflict.
The reporting so far has been all about Islamists vs minorities, Islamists vs Kurds, etc, and it's only when Sunni and Shiite Muslims are involved in alleged atrocities that they're headlines?
IMO there would be less controversy in the UK if the reporting from the start had more "Iraqi Muslims under attack from ISIS fanatics". Islam's not doing the best job of promoting itself as the "religion of peace" but journos are doing nothing to help either.
