When you accept the crime to be a symptom of a diagnosable illness then a doctor wants to cure and the patient is then free after the 'cure'.

Which to me says she is still getting treatment and this is part of her rehabilitation, the Daily Mail should be ashamed (yes I just read that out loud) for even putting this story in the paper

How can someone come out of a mental hospital after only four months?

Because when treated properly, some mental illnesses can be "tamed" in that time frame.

And I use the word tamed rather than cured, because it will always be there somewhere.

Whereas I would agree locking her away in prison is not the right answer, four months later, back and on the school run seems very surprising. How can someone come out of a mental hospital after only four months?
