Software - my son's guitar covers get the treatment too they they're never blocked everywhere - usually only in USA.....
I also have some videos of my partner driving (I know - to show her family back home the scenery etc) and got similar notices relating to whatever was on on the radio at the time!
I presume it's similar to Shazam....

This is a video taken at a friend's wedding of their first dance. I put it on YouTube as it was too big a file to email to them.
There must be millions of similar videos at a party or wedding with a song playing in the background.
Do you think they would have just stumbled across this file or is there software out there that somehow searches it out?
The file's been there for about 2 years and I'm sure no-one's viewed it other than the happy couple and close family - and probably only once.

I got an email, this morning from YouTube
"Due to a copyright claim, your YouTube video has been blocked.....
Video Title: Mr & Mrs X. The First Dance.
Copyrighted song: When Love Takes Over
Claimed by: WMG"
This is a video taken at a friend's wedding of their first dance. I put it on YouTube as it was too big a file to email to them.
There must be millions of similar videos at a party or wedding with a song playing in the background.
