I cannot be bothered to read this thread

    WTF is Lost about?

The Others, Plane Crashs, Doors, Numbers.

What is the f-cking synopsis or is this another long winded, pat on the back load of guff like Twin Peaks? (which actually I quite liked)

Watched the first episode of series 3 last night. A few surprises, but mostly looking like a change of direction in the emphasis of the program. Looks good...

    Hurley

He's still fat because it's only a story, it's not real, he's not real, we are not real.

One version of this is that the entire series is a dream of Hurley’s (the fat bloke). Just like Pam in Dallas, so that Bobby could be brought back in to the series. This being the case, I hope the next season will feature many erotic dream sequences featuring Ana Lucia. Tragedy her getting shot, real shame.

    Or is she?

Lost is quite good - they do throw these teasers in there - especially like that bit where Jin speaks some English in a trailer and then you find out it was a Hurley flashback.

Unfortunately it's subjected to syndicate "padding" which dilutes the intensity at times but every now and then there a blinder: like the discovery of the others that aren't what they seem.

Locke seems to have taken a back seat for a bit - he started off as some mystical guru that was clued up on the island. Now he appears to be just another bloke having middle-aged angst.

I wonder what this Larma experiement thing is all about?

And that's the point. Rarely do things happen in this crap series. They play out some scenario for 50 minutes, all in aid of building up a character, then in the last 5 minutes they do something remotely interesting.

And just when you think the story's becoming enticing, in the next episode they completely forget the current storyline and move onto some other character!

I reckon they should get all the Lost women naked and turn the series into a porno.

Re: "Invasion": I made an executive decision not to bother watching it.

Yes, same here, I figured being into Lost was bad enough.

They often pull out a real spinechiller, like the flashback where we see fat Hurley's bird looking clearly mad in the mental institute, at the same time as he is there talking to his imaginary friend. And yet he doesn't recognise her from there? Then no follow up. And now she is dead.
