there's only one moment when you have to change the sheets: when your girlfriend/wife/partner refuses to sleep in your bed. then and only then, it's time.

I don't.
But if I showered before bed and the sheets were only changed every 2 weeks, it would almost certainly be much more hygienic that someone who didn't shower before bed but changed the sheets every week.

Assuming that you shower before bed, I don't see it's a big deal. 2 weeks without changing the sheets is just about tolerable, so I don't see pyjamas being much different.
