Also check out staub, way better than le creuset. My 3- ply saucepans and one cast iron casserole and my non stick pans are all Le creuset. Even though the pans are non stick I still season them with oil.

I do miss cooking on gas but the fact the induction is sooooo easy to clean and pretty quick to heat up. I had to re-teach myself to cook certain things as it took a bit of working out what settings were better with induction.

I got the bosch one, thankfully they had a kitchen place nearby that I could go and play with all the hobs before choosing one.

Anyone have an induction hob and use a metallic heat diffuser for non iron/steel pans?

Any good? Any horror stories? Or should I just man up, buy new and stop treating this place like mumsnet.
