Also check out staub, way better than le creuset. My 3- ply saucepans and one cast iron casserole and my non stick pans are all Le creuset. Even though the pans are non stick I still season them with oil.Originally posted by Pondlife View PostTa Nor,
All the le cruisset stuff is fine and Neff have shipped some as part of the deal, it's just the non-stickiness of that one pan.
I do miss cooking on gas but the fact the induction is sooooo easy to clean and pretty quick to heat up. I had to re-teach myself to cook certain things as it took a bit of working out what settings were better with induction.
I got the bosch one, thankfully they had a kitchen place nearby that I could go and play with all the hobs before choosing one.Last edited by norrahe; 24 November 2014, 17:04.

I had to say goodbye to some of my beloved copper pots and some pans I'd had for years when I switched to induction.

Buy new! any excuse to get some new cooking equipment.Originally posted by Pondlife View PostGetting a new induction hob installed this week but don't want to replace my favourite omelette pan or espresso maker.
Anyone have an induction hob and use a metallic heat diffuser for non iron/steel pans?
Any good? Any horror stories? Or should I just man up, buy new and stop treating this place like mumsnet.
