I was trying to book a return flight to Warsaw, there was loads of seats on the outbound but nothing available inbound to the UK for weeks

    Homeless Poles

Did anybody catch the clip on the news last night showing swathes of homeless Poles sleeping rough and inn squats in the UK?

Apparently they are not entitled to benefits until they can prove 12 full months of uninterrupted emplyment. As well , by leaving Poland, they forfeit any right to state support in Poland.

Isnt this a bit unfair? Surely Poland should be made to support their own people and not just throw them to the wolves? Why should all the poor and uneducated people from another country arrive and cease to be the problem of the country they came from

Westminster council has initiated a drive to bus the poor dears back to Poland. But with high unemplyment and no recourse to state support, what the h3ll are they going to do and whay would they want to go back?
