Any truth in the rumour that the Governments looking at
raising Clearance for Defense related Contract work from SC
to DV in the coming months. For working on contracts with
Rolls Royce and BAE Systems ?
Also - with the new proviso that Scots residing north of
the border must relocate to whats left of the United
Kingdom - or risk losing their SC, DV clearance following
Scottish UDI in the event of a 'Yes' vote in the Scottish
referendum.Last edited by Tightfit; 30 August 2014, 16:20.

Some quite serious lock down there - don't think Al-CIA-da (now rebranded as ISIS) will have a go. Mustn't bite the hand that feeds...
Problem is, the airport security is laughable. If they have any sense they'll use the nearby RAF base and helicopter them to the resort.

BBC News - Muslim integration 'easier in Scotland than England'
And those who responded felt one of the barriers to adapting to Scottish life was the country's drinking culture.
Muslim participants frequently cited Scottish people's relationship with alcohol, in terms of integration and more generally as most Muslims do not drink alcohol.
As most social events in Scotland were seen to revolve around drinking alcohol, many Muslims felt they could not often fully integrate.
This was seen by both as a major practical barrier in the integration of Muslims into Scottish life.
