Haven't had a bike for a while, had a few road bikes but enjoyed trials and trail bikes too, Bacchus steeds were

    Yamaha FS1E (of course)
    Suzuki T100
    Montesa 247 Cota
    BSA 175 Bantam
    Bultaco 350 Sherpa
    Yamaha xt550
    Ducati 900sd
    Suzuki GS550
    Honda CB400n

eBay and alcohol are a terrible thing so may get a little xl250 or dt175 to play with, or a Di Blasi for the boat (then I will get drummed out of bike club...)

It's actually quite reliable - used to ride it to work every day. Does need constant low level attention. Cheap insurance / no tax / no depreciation / cheap parts / 75 mpg.

    Regards

    Currently bikeless

Used to have a Triumph SprintST until some dozy bint drove through me from behind, crippling me for three years and leaving me in pain for the rest of my life.

Will be getting a new SprintST soon, I hope

The trick is to go fast enough through traffic that you're only in danger for a few milliseconds at a time......
