£1.70 each way.

Make sure you can throw the money in basket, as some dear couldn't do this when I last used them, then the 50p went under her car.

Mersey Tunnel

Has anyone any experiences using the tunnel to Birkenhead during rush hour ?

I'm looking for the best route and time to set off from Wigan to Birkenhead during the morning.

Google maps tells me it's less miles through the tunnel and more if I go around it
