I suppose its hard to tell who is "us" as its ContractorUK. I made the old mistake of assuming that UK=England.

The four home countries all compete seperately at the Commonwealth Games. They're different realms within the United Kingdom (or something like that).

Olympics we were the UK. Commonwealth games we are England. Or it is just because the games are hosted in Scotland?
