Seriously though, you should look out for Oracle Fusion projects, then cross-over into Oracle and out of Peoplesoft as fast as you can !
    Just learn SAP

    PS on PS

Let's not forget that Peoplesoft (as well as Siebel) are now owned by Oracle and are no longer sold as stand-alone apps but only as part of an Oracle package (allegedly)

Not really helpful, are we ?

As you posted in the right area and asked quite a sensible qn (unlike the majority who come here and ask the most stupid ones), the short answer is:
    1. August is probably the quietest month (as you gather it's to do with the summer holidays over here), thus agents can't get hold of any decent PMs.
    2. Moreover, the Peoplesoft market has died a slow death in the hands of consultancies and outsourcers, hence there is a distinct lack of demand for single contractors. The most you can pick up is a 2/3 m upgrade. This applies to other areas, eg CRMs like Siebel etc that seem to have also disappeared lately.

Tip, "G'day, I like the kangaroos" is not always a good opening statement when speaking to an agent, failing that, there's always bar work at The Walkabout in Shepherds Bush

Or has the PeopleSoft contract market gone belly up/gone to India?

    Comments?
