Haha, regularly get random emails about fake jobs paying top rates from Huxley's via their imaginary pimp...

On that note, does anyone know if Antonio Arcari of Real Staffing exists?

Out of sheer amusement I've applied for Tom's contracts over the past 2 years. Always out to lunch, on another line or in a meeting. I've gotten calls from other recs at Cititec and told them that the day Tom meets me for lunch is the day I consider what they have on the table.
So far nothing.

Has any one tracked down the real Jamie Burgess of Huxley associates yet?Originally posted by Damon View PostTo a degree but I believe it is more prevalent these days.
The market has just matured and like all maturing markets commodity practices emerge. There are more contractors so we are less specialist/differentiators ergo the barriers to entry come down and the sales model becomes volume not quality.

It's his old address according to the comments
Worrying change in the market that one has to be selected and screened by such inexperienced folks.

His facebook page is interesting. Nice that he posts a photo of his payslip, complete with address.Originally posted by DirtyDog View PostWell, Tom describes himself as a "Senior Infrastructure Recruiter" on LinkedIn.
Given that he's 20, I wonder how old the junior recruiters there are??
I think it's fair to say he exists, although may not be the brightest star in the recruitment galaxy.

I currently head up the Infrastructure market at Cititec, placing with a number of Investment Banks, Hedge Funds and Asset Management Houses in the City. My main area of focus and interest is Wintel, Virtualisation & Messaging positions. Within recent months this has been a very successful area of Infrastructure and we're looking to expand on this in 2013.

Cititec - Wintel fake jobs ??
Hi All,
Has anyone ever got a role through Cititec? I keep on seeing very similar roles posted every few weeks by them:
https://www.jobserve.com/gb/en/searc...8CAB6CBF2D7E4/
But Tom never seems to be available when you call.
Anyone know of the agency ?
