    BTW there are some role where you will have to provide a reference but they shouldn't ask for them until after you have had the interview.

    JD PDF looks fairly genuine, but the rate is unusually high for their
    But funny thing, asked for contact details for my last reference (manager), that it helps the application.This is before any interview date.

    Seems funny, advise I'm happy to provide the name, but direct contact details... as needed through the application process.
