    These are a Canadian outfit, I've dealt with them in Vancouver and they also wanted a face to face. Its a cultural thing, maybe they are doing the same over here.

    Anyway, I had a face to face but they didn't have a role for me, but I did get a contract as a result of the meeting. This was in 2005/06

    I rate them highly (in Canada)

    I used to deal with for temp accountancy roles, they're just another agency

    I've never bothered to meet agents face to face, it's a waste of time IMHI

    Someone will talk you through your CV and probe a little.

    You will meet the team and then usually the roles start coming in from there, I have had about 5 interviews with Robert Half and 2 temp roles with them.

    I got the same same, I went anyway as I happened to be in town that day, so no harm done.

    Basically it is akin to having the pimp find out more about your cv and what you do to decide what angle they can market you at.

    Can't see anything on their site that makes them any more than an agent. There are some headhunter companies out there that would be worth a chat with (if you wanted permie roles) but these don't appear to be them.

    If I was local and had nothing better to do I would go for a word. If it is even remotely putting me out I wouldn't bother.

    Does anyone have experience with these lot? I

    keep getting calls that I need to attend a meeting at their offices (to discuss roles in more depth and past experience) before they can put me forward for roles?
