I heard today that Barclays is about to ban contractors from parking on site so they will either have to find somewhere in Knutsford to park and walk / cadge a lift or take their chances parking in the surrounding lanes. This should be fun until it causes an accident.

Only bad thing was my car was broken into on the driveway right outside the house so be careful on the area.
I did manage to WFH over Christmas one year and they were good about coming late Monday/leaving early Friday.

I remember being at traffic lights in Knutsford once when some guy knocked on the window and asked for a lift to Radbroke (he saw my pass). WTF! Told him to do one.
I hid my pass when driving for the rest of the gig.

In 23 years contracting, the only work I did close to home was Radbroke Hall for 7 months. The rest, mainly London, with short stints in Oxford, WGC and Northhampton.
Good job I don't have kids, as I'd have forgotten what they looked like.
