    What a rip off for client co!! - more like what a rip off for Candidates! I've seen a few of these things though, recently.

    Agree with your quality of candidate comment. Same goes for the FTCs which are kicking about, and it's not just Agents trying this on. The likes of C*p*t* are trying this on for contractors to join their own project teams on client site. c. £40k pro rata over 8 months...I make that c.£167/day, when I suspect they will be charging the client far, far in excess of this amount.

    One of the other programme managers at Client Co is advertising for a PM contract role. The current rate is £350/day via their single preferred agency.

    Imagine our surprise/amusement when we saw/recieved 2-3 emails from other agents advertising the same role for £150-200/day. What a rip off for client co!! What sort of candidate quality would you expect for that sort of rate? It certainly wont be the standard/quality that you think you are paying for....!!
