Happened to me at the end of last year - was offered a tasty role just before Xmas, only to be revoked between Xmas and New Year. Obviously brush down, move on etc but was pretty hacked off initally, as was the agent. But did move on and landed something just tasty in the new year.

Agreed. Fair point.Originally posted by northernladuk View PostBut this is not right and is misunderstood so often when people feel they have been let down by agents and vent their anger.
It isn't just the agents the revoke offers, the client often doesn't want the contractor for one reason or another and the agent suffers the same fate as we do. No good blaming the agent straight off.

Fair what you say but that doesnt stop someone feeling pissed off by it. I know I would be.Originally posted by northernladuk View PostWe are. We are getting almost spammed by the number of people either revoked or termination without notice. Almost getting boring now.
It happens. It is part of the job. Move on.

And what Mr Got In Too Late said is what I did before him but with more fluff.Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostSo to answer the question, Mr Personality is saying 'Yes, there has been an increase lately in contractors being reneged on, or terminated. This is of course an indication that things are getting worse and should therefore be expected, and therefore dealt with as being part & parcel of being a contractor"
