Sorry for the late response on this. It was simply client not updating the timesheet correctly in their external system but again I had sent the correct timesheets and the invoice on time for this and got a really late response from AM when I asked why I didn't get the payment on time.
In the end problem was resolved in 6-7 working days. This was the only time for the last 16 months.

Contact your rep and tell them you will not be turning up at client site next week if it remains unpaid.
Have they paid subsequent invoices and just missed that one?

Hi Robert,
AM are a very big company, if there were real problems with contractors getting paid then I am sure this thread would be a lot bigger
Sounds like the usual oddities individuals get in dealing with a corporation this size. You should have no problems getting paid if you take the contract on IMO.

Looking to find out more?
I am looking at contracting with them but obviously keen to make sure I get my money, did they sort this out for you? If so how long did it take them?

lol its pointless to get in touch with the payment side. my partner had to go through the agent to get the payment sorted out. and only because we had not submitted the latest timesheets. If you are submitting your timesheets faithfully then you can forget getting that call from the payments people.
we sent them countless emails to no avail. I think we even called and talked to someone who promised 'I WIll Get Back To You'
goodluck

Have in the past. Threatened to take them to court and they soon coughed up.

Aston Carter - Delayed payment anyone?
I've been working with AC for more than a year now and they have always been on time with the payments. But somehow my May invoice has not been paid and I am having difficulty to reach someone to talk about this. Person from payment told me on the phone that they will get back to me in the next few days and also they were very busy to look at their system to see why it hasn't been paid??
I am aware that they have been acquired by another agency but again not being able get a response is another negativity here.
I don't want to speculate but does anyone have any payment problems lately with AC?Tags: None
