Got a sweet contract through them for most of last year. Job was a more senior role than normal and at a rate to reflect that. It also was a 9 month offer from the start.
Loved it and they paid on time. IMO, worth jumping through the odd hoop as they usually have high-end stuff.
Agent was really fit too....

I contracted through them a few years back. They mainly recruited senior/mid level HR people, and I was one of their early non-HR type roles, albeit working in HR at the client.
I recall going for an interview with them at their office prior to the interveiw with the client, and provided references of previous agencies contracted through was all they required.
They paid on time, and found me the job in the first place. So are okay by me.

I have never yet had a pimp who put me forward for a role that wanted references up front. Besides, most client co's will not give references these days.

Anyone heard of Green Park? Are they casting their net..
.. for fish?
Was called by one of their 'Partners' today about a possible role; discussed my work background in great length and told me more about the role etc. Became very insistent that he needs personal work references (from the past prior to going forward due to 'due diligence' ) and implied that if one has nothing to hide, there should be no issue... apart from the issue of 'fishing' which I mentioned to him.. of course, he provided me with many assurances but was unable to provide me with a job specification.
I haven't provided anything as yet and my intuition tells me not to, however, has anyone else come across these guys at all?Tags: None
