I would like to take advice regarding an solution which my friend is following. I am newbie to contracting and my friend who is already working on a contract through an agency. He works for Company A through an agency. Even though is name is in the contract. Another company (Company B, this is not an umbrella company) bills on his behalf without his name mentioned on the invoice. He has a separate contract with Company B which is IR35 compliant and is billing rate and frequency are totally different from Company A. Does this solution make him IR35 complaint.
    Thanks
God knows, but I wouldn't think so. Looks like another variation of the "unnecessarily complicated business arrangement for no good reason" setup to me. I suggest you learn how the real rules work before contemplating something more complex, that way lies madness.

Also can't see how the client hasn't noticed to fee rates for the same person unless he's being paid twice. At best he could be falling foul of the MSC regs, but who can tell from that explanation...
