The thing about these kind of projects is that only parts of it are sensitive. You should be fine, given the level of clearance you are talking about, to discuss generally your role, the technology, and the project. Let's face it, there's plenty of information in the public domain about projects such as eBorders, NPfIT, DII etc, so don't get too hung up on it.
Clearly, architecture diagrams, code, test scripts etc etc etc would be inappropriate to take to interview, but you shouldn't have that sort of information to hand outside of the workplace anyway.

It depends on the project and which department it is for.
For example, if you are SC cleared to work for Manchester Police on a project that everyone knows about, then explaining who you were working for would seem to be logical. If you were working for MI6 on their database of international spies, then it's probably a good idea to keep quiet about it - one to protect the client, and two to protect yourself.Leave a comment:

Personally I would ask the security team on the project you worked/are working for to see if they have a draft statement or a pre-agreed level of information that is useable. Even discussing the technologies on some SC projects I have worked with can land you in very hot water.
With SC involved I wouldn't assume anything. Even if the paperwork says you can talk about certain things people can still get very unhappy. Better safe than sorry.Leave a comment:

I wouldn't go as far as saying that you are working on a govt project, just that you are working for a Sys Integrator <insert name here> on a SC Cleared project using the following technologies, etc. etc. If the agency wants to know more info, ask them if they have a current and valid SC Clearance before disclosing specific details. Hi Guys,
What Information can be disclosed in CV/interview about SC cleared project.
Currently I am on a SC cleared project with Govt Agency (A) through system integrator (B).
I am not sure how much information I can disclose about this project during interview/CV..?
Currently I am saying it as "working for system integrator (B) on SC cleared project for Govt project"I am not even saying agency name ie "Govt Agency (A) " in my CV/interviews.
Not mentioning what this project for either. Just mentioned underlying technology/tool generic way.
Can I go beyond this & name agency & what the project for..??
Please let me know..
