Professional indemnity insurance and public liability insurance

Hi all,

Hope we all are having a great day, week or month. With the football season running too.

Just wanted to ask a simple question about insurance.

I am about starting a new role within the Public Sector and the Agency I am working through with my LTD company wants me to hold professional indemnity insurance and public liability insurance to a minimum value of £1 million.

Just want to know if any one knows the best way or best firm that will give me the possible cheapest quote I can get. I have always thought of this as pure waste of money but well, I have to go with the requirements I guess.
