    Average tax rate in my experience (rough) about 35% after expenses.

    Quick German Tax Question...

    Assuming contract in DE, living there weekdays, UK weekends, assume one has to pay German tax 183 days etc, can I assume that after expenses, ie flights/accom, the effective tax rate on the balance would be normal German, ie around 50%? Ball park figure is all I need.

    Sorry for quickness/vagueness, summerts up this end!
