    HAHA!! so true! I was in a 12 month contract, got canned after 9 months due to the recession and given my statuatory 1 month notice.

    So in reality I never had a 12 month contract, I only ever had a 1 month rolling contract.

    Talk about a wake up call!

    Nice well done.

    As this contract seems to be enduring might be worth reviewing your role and the contract with regard to IR35? If the role is just a bum on seat type thing it might be worth seeing about re-wording the role, especially if you are getting on well with the manager?
