Hi, i need to complete a basic check form online. The options are Employed, Self Employed and Benefits for the last 3 years. However i have a period spent travelling aroad for several months and not sure how to add that as i dont get an option ike 'Other'. Any ideas?
I always put "self employed" and never mention any of my numerous, long career breaks. I just state that I've been employed by the same company for 21 years. That always seems to do the trick.
Have you asked the question to the sponsor / agency? If you are a contractor, you may as well say Self-Employed and if you are asked to explain any gaps, put it in the additional information section (If applicable).
Yes im a contractor. The sponsor knows i was away on a career break. I did decide to put in self-employed and filled in career break in the self employed fields. Thanks.
