The problem is you are competing against kids… I saw one project where they were offering £250 fixed fee and someone quoted them £25.
I guess if you aren’t doing anything else it’s worth a punt, but you won’t be making any serious money.

That's about right. All these sites have the odd project which can pay a reasonable (in this context £20/hr+) rate but you are going to have to work at it.
