I usually elect to work up to Christmas Eve. It's dead quiet in the office and I like the atmosphere in London on those last few (boozy) days. In the past I've come in and collected some easy coins for being around late December, but looking back it's best to take a good solid break until early Jan, preferably with some skiing lined up

I do full days only, there's nothing worse than being sent home at lunch time only to be told that you can't claim a full day.

How do you go about finding such short contracts, the usual boards?
