I was in this situation a few years back. Client wanted me off the premises pronto as they couldn't find any work for the final 2 weeks of my 3 month contract with them. Basically, they were desperate to save money. I offered to go 2 weeks early, as long as they paid me for one of those weeks, and I could get agreement from the agency. They were happy to do this. Worked out well for all concerned.

Mind you, how much longer have you got to go? If it's more than two weeks, then just hang on in there and keep charging. Nothing stopping you looking around in the meantime - especially as you've so much free time on your hands!

Socketpuppet! Like any client is going to pay you two weeks money to leave early! Fecking hell!

I would say your chances are slim to none. What is in it for the client?


Why not offer to leave now for 1 weeks pay?

Is there an obligation for the client to offer work? (if so, you are more than likely IR35 caught)
