Started a contract 12 working days ago, everything going great, good feed back, on day 10 the business asked if I would go premy, I said no in a nice way explaining, day 12 they have given me 1 week notice, looks like I've been on trial here, great feedback, then offered job, said no, sacked.....
Left a good contract at the FCO for this and they waited for my notice period too, stitched up like a kipper
Any ideas people
Take the job (on the condition its on your contractor rate). Relax and see what the market does
Probably better to do 30 days to get full sick benefits, then spend 183 days on the sick (working another gig of course) until they fire him for too much sick. Bit of luck might even win the unfair dismissal tribunal too. Triple boomed.
Let's not forget that other permie benefit - holidays

So:
You exercise your notice period and terminate the FCO contract early - no problem.
Your new client exercises their notice period and terminates the contract early - stitched up!!

Yes aww,diddums..........but I acted in the correct way as a business, this was a stunt to get me to go premy - so thats a stitch up.

If the pimp wasn't in on it they would have spent time and effort recruiting for a gig that didn't really exist and will be losing out on comission for no good reason.
