I would normally agree with you, but in the current climate I thought it was a way to get a "foot in the door" as a permi - you never know!

...and the foots not too far in for all the politics etc.

Why don't you ask SajStars - he has two jobs and runs a marathon every day.

Haven't tried it with the permie element.

Have tried it a couple of times as concurrent contracts...seems good on paper but finding the energy to maintain the illusion ( and have any form of a life ) is quite tricky!

if i needed the money, and thought I could get away with it, definately.

but i would be discreet about it with each of client and employer.

Would the permie job T&Cs not prevent you from working for someone else?

started a topic Two jobs possible?

    Two jobs possible?

Dilemma - do you think this is possible?
    • Working as a contractor (on site) for 4 days a week
    • Working as a permi (mostly home based) for 3 days a week

Obviously 4+3 does not equal to 5.
The contractor position will be challenging
The permi job in comparison will not be as it;s mostly writing design documents (weekends are available to catch-up if working alone).

    Would you do it?

Working...
