Most people here don't believe said foreigners are equally skilled. Some are of course, but it's really hard to tell when they are situated on another continent and are insulated from you by an offshore PM who wants to act as intermediary between you and the developer.

Flash developers are cheap though, AFAIK... it's the kind of skill many teach themselves and use to hack about. Like VB

I'd be interested to see what the agency is charging and indeed what the consultancy would charge you out at.

26 quid an hour is less than most Indian bodyshoppers will charge for numpties who cant even open the workflow editor.

God, I've been grumbling about a 5% rate cut that would still end up with treble that rate.
