    Course its legal. You signed the original contract didnt you?

    Trading direct with client

    I am currently on contract via an agency (Badenoch & Clark).

    My client manager onsite & I have discussed and agreed between ourselves that it would be ok for me to trade direct via my own ltd company.

    This would benefit us both as I could earn more but charge less.

    However I was told today that If I trade direct within 10 weeks of leaving the agency the client would have to pay them a "finders fee".

    After 10 weeks trading direct would be ok, & now fines to pay.
