Post all of the details you have received on here anonymously..seriously though I'd suggest you do nothing; they are numpties who sound like they have previously done work for the home office and MI5.

started a topic Agency in breach of Data Protection?

Agency in breach of Data Protection?

An agent has disclosed another applicant to me for a position they were trying to get me interested in. They sent me the applicants email with all their details presumably by mistake however they then made the situation worse by disclosing the pay rates of all the contractors in a team, surely this is against Data protection? I know they are all useless but advice on this would be much appreciated, what should I do?

I have no interest in the position as the money is stupidly low, however the agency is the Preferred supplier for the biggest employer in my area so upsetting them would probably be a bad move.

Working...
