Computer People are the best - they came in every 3 months for a 5 min chat and gave you Pens! Like they even have ANY kind on interest in you lolOriginally posted by SneakySimon View PostYes, it was an exciting moment when my agent called!!
Amusingly, my collegue (also a contractor) makes his take him out for a coffee every 3 months!! - helps that she is pretty. I wouild do the same, but mine is over 50.

I live in East Lancashire and was told by an agent they had put my CV, which they found on Monster, forward for an interview without first telling me.
According to the Agent, the client was very close to my home town and within "easy commuting distance." Turns out it was on the Scottish border!!!!
The other alternate I suppose is to find your own clients. I'm working with one contractor who rarely uses agents but instead networks widely and finds his own.

I had a similar scenario the other day when I applied for a role "based in the East Midlands", so I called up the agent and asked where specifically, she said........Edinburgh !!Originally posted by SneakySimon View Post
5. I know you want a role in the midlands, but Berkshire is really close.
