On my "don't touch with a bargepole" list. As a group. Both for contracting and hiring. Maybe Belgium is better. I work through Hays in CH, and they're fine, but would absolutely NOT work through them in the UK.
Progressive generally have a very high margin, which can make you the poorest paid, most expensive contractor on site.

I dont know about Belguim, but I've had one on the phone all week, checking that I haven't got any other interviews lined up and checking if i was available next week. He wont tell me who the job is for - but he seems to think I'll get an interview for it! I was supposed to hear this AM when my interview is next week. Of course I've heard nothing - the fact that he wont tell me who its with, is kind of a give away - in my book.
But yesterday he called me 4 times!

Did a long gig with them once (progressive north). The started that 21 day when i was about to leave but after the 21 days i think it was weekly. Overall not a bad word to say about them really. Once in a while they take their contractors out for a meal but not sure if thats still the case. On starting the contract they gave me a bottle of champs which turned out to be lambrini content
. Good Agency tho and prob one of the few i dont mind if they give me a call to fish about

Aggressive is how my last permie boss used to refer to them when they kept chasing to see if they were taking any new contractors on. Every few days.
In the end, they came of the PSL just to get rid.
That said, I've never dealt with them, so can't say how they are from a contractor perspective.

Looking for opinions, good or bad, on Progressive, specifically Progressive (Belgium)
I have the option of going with them or a.n. otheragency for the same gig and so far it would be fair to say a better name would be Agressive. Don't mind that to some extent but they're beginning to border on harrassment in their desparation to get me to sign exclusively on the dotted ...
Any opinions of trustworthiness, quality of representation, cashflow, general business ethics (Yeah I know, but I thought I would ask).
PM me if you don't want to share your thoughts with the wider community...
