I am always kind to everyone. I don't count lines of Russian as a fault, it shows imagination. Ideally, websites should swap between English, Cyrillic and Japanese characters at random. Websites are for the designers not the stupid users. Same with clients in my view, what I do in their time is entirely my business and they should be pantingly grateful for whatever they get.
PS For checking compatibility this is really good:
http://validator.w3.org/
It does not check jscript unfortunately. Change "this" and "all" and many of the faults disappear in my experience.
PPS How does one create a website readable by blind people?Last edited by xoggoth; 27 August 2005, 09:15.

Sorry bob, it is IE only but it will change soon. On IE it works great....

It doesn't work. Millions of JavaScript errors, such as:-
Error: parent.fr_Content_Action56629546322754624546494118 7.document has no properties
Source File: http://www.2gs.org/2gs.exe/?Page_Nam...1&ind_cm_hdr=1
Line: 53
Is this IE only? If so, shame on you. There's no reason for that at all. Ever. What about Mac/Linux users? What about blind people (screen readers can't follow JavaScript links like that)?
Web based software should always be all inclusive. That is, after all, the whole point. You're supposed to be avoiding dependency on a particular platform.

Well it's a fine example of what can be achieved by the low cost and "highly skilled" offshore workforce to be found in India. No wonder our government are so keen to get them here to work on our public service IT systems.

It's okay Churchill, you only have to provide your banking and credit card details and then everything is hunky dory. Mind you, I got a phone call this morning telling me I'd gone over my limit due to two $10,000 transactions in Hyderabad, but I guess that's just the wife out shopping again.

You're using some rather strange text that relies on people having access to certain fonts.
Where's the "Added Value"?

hi everyone,
I developed a program for contractors and I would appreciate any feedbacks -
especially about the contracts module.
This module purpose is to let you know the state of your expected income and cashflow.
Its very simple, you add the contract, then you add the required payments - The dates and sum of payments due as you agreed about with the customer.
When the customer pay you add the payment.
The program will calculate the contract state and tell you how much he owe.
The site is: http://www.2gs.org
Any and all advice will be welcomed
