forgot to mention that there is a ton of eye candy here too which is always a plus point in accepting any work!

Thanks, they may come back to me in a few months time.
On another positive note I don't have to fill in the AlexMan documentation :-) which included an opt out form even though I'd met the client previously.

I totally agree. I worked there for most of 2006 and enjoyed it. I was based at HQ but also had to go to the business park and Theale. The working environment is relaxed and flexible. I met some good people and there is certainly an opportunity to network with so many contractors there!!Originally posted by NickNick View PostNewbury and I have to say that I enjoyed it there. I moved on in the cull last autumn but would go back there. i guess it's like every large company, there are good people and bad. IMHO, Vodafone had a large share of the former and practically none of the latter. I can't think of many companies I've worked for/at that I could say that of.
I would go back although it's a little bit further away than I would like.

Are you quite so cheerful about not getting paid for the first month though...?Originally posted by richy_rich View Post...the payment terms are 30 days which is a bit of a pain but think that once your contract is finished, then you still get paid for another month

And a big hello to anyone else working in the wonderful world of SAP!
Cheers,

I interviewed there last year with 2 of the dullest people I have ever met (apart from a Belgian at Compaq EMEA a few years back).
Needless to say, the pimp was surprised when I phoned him straight after and told him no chance...
