I've been with JSA for the past 5 months. Pretty good, always someone at the end of the phone and the txt messages they send to confirm invoices and payment are quite handy.

try the umbrella comparision websites if you want to see who is providing a decent service without spiralling costs -- all umbrellas should provide more or less the same take home pay , so why pay more /

shocking to hear the Parasol service has gone down the pan - they always used to get rave reviews for their service and win awards for it and everything.

I wear a bush hat, as it is far more practical.

I know a lot of people here in the forums have recommended Ltd over an Umbrella. I am fairly new to contracting (2+ yrs now ) and have been with only 1 Umbrella Company.

I was wondering if the others here, have any favourites....

Have you noticed that those who recommend ltd are those who've been doing it for years and therefore maybe have some reasons behind their recommendation?

I'm with Parasol and quite happy about them. If there's any delay, it's always the agency's fault.

or so they say!!! for 3 mths they swore blind it was the agent, however the agent had already shown me the statements and proof that it had been paid.

they were fecking useless, and as soon as they offered to pay me out of their funds cos it had been going on a while (a lame acceptance) i then left them. wouldnt touch them or recommend them

yes they are reliable and seemingly trustworthy, but their customer service is terrible if you ever have a query about anything (prepare to be ignored). not that i'd expect any of their competitors to be any better.
