If it's important or rare then yes you probably should.

Eg. course in building data warehouses (yes), couse in writing basic SQL (no).

Not anymore. When I first started it was important to show you'd done the relevant courses. Not now I've been doing the same thing for 10 years.

Bin them if you've got the experiance to show that they are not needed. Or cut the detail down to literally couse taken (grade / length).

CV: do you put training courses on it?

I'm trying to cut down the length of my CV. Training courses take up 1/3 of a page and I'm thinking of hacking them out. Previously I've believed them to be important in showing one's 'pedigree' I suppose ... but since I haven't attended any formal course since 2004 it doesn't seem so relevant any more.

What say you?
