You know if you use the search facility on this site you will find out what people think about different umbrellas.
There is also a sticky at the top of the Accounting / Legal forum which mentions umbrella companies.
Most questions you have about contracting can be found by searching around this site, reading the "First Timers guide" (look at the CUK Navigation) and googling. Read those first then come back and ask questions on what you don't understand or can't find.
One point of netiquette - urgent within the title of a post is considered rather rude.
Now, you'll be an employee of the umbrella company. You will be working, it seems, for a UK company, but will be based in Hong Kong. First, you should ask your umbrella company what expenses you can claim. You should be able to claim for your travel, accomodation and some, or possibly all, meals.
But working outside of the EU complicates matters. You may, for example, not be liable for tax or NI. Is the UK company - your client - paying any of your expenses - flights etc.?
£200 a day? What's the role?
I would not listen to you...you are not all there!!!

I am about to start my new job next week. It is a 6 months contract working in hk by employed by uk. My employment agency has an umbrella company reffered to me. This is something completely new to me working as a contractor. I don't quite know wat i am entitle of and i have recieved a spreadsheet of my payment from the brolly company(please see below). I have no idea if the fees and eveything else is correct. Or using different brolly company would get me earn better. Please advice.
Also do i suppose to sign employment contract with the company i am going to work for or brolly company? And how does the expenese claim works and what way do i get the maximum benefit? All i know is the brolly company ask me how much do i spend on lunch each day and transport etc. And if i am renting a room working overseas in hk, do i get any subsidies? Please advice asap as i am starting to work next week.
Many thanks.
